“In college, I never thought of a career as something you do because you love it. I would just think, you need a career to have a job, to make money, to support yourself, your family. The year I was to graduate; 2014 - showed Marketing as a decent paying job in high demand. Naturally I declared my major and graduated. I’m 28 and I’ve never taken a job in marketing. I would look for jobs, collaborate with others in the industry, stay updated with new trends, but never applied. Maybe I’ve been scared, hesitant to take the leap into that world. I don’t really know why, I just never did. Maybe I’ll regret never knowing why I didn’t like it. It’s kind of funny how we make these meaningful choices when we’re just 19.”
